Charissa and Andrew had a classy, elegant Calgary wedding day. The day was filled with stunning editorial vibes as they celebrated walking around downtown Calgary and enjoyed their reception at the Lake House. Getting Ready at a Family Home

Charissa started her day getting ready with her sisters at her parents’ place. There was lots of laughter and excitement, and it was such a special time for her and her family. There she shared first looks with her dad, followed by the bridesmaids, who wore beautiful mismatched bridesmaid dresses but within the green color scheme.

Ahead of their big day, Charissa and Andrew exchanged handwritten letters that they read separately, which was such a sweet, emotional moment.

Ceremony at the McKenzie Towne Church

Charissa and Andrew decided to skip the first look and chose the more traditional route of seeing each other for the first time as Charissa walked down the aisle with her dad. I LOVED seeing the love and happy tears in Andrew’s eyes, it was such a special, beautiful, candid moment to be a part of. And while I do love a first look, if you choose to wait until you see each other at the ceremony – go for it! Do what feels right for you!

Fun, Editorial Downtown Calgary Wedding Vibes

After the ceremony we roamed the downtown Calgary for some wedding portraits and they turned out stunning! The celebration continued with Charissa and Andrew hopping into a party limo with their wedding party and heading to capture some more portraits together!

Picturesque Photos at Fish Creek Provincial Park

Together we headed to Fish Creek Provincial Park for some wedding portraits surrounded by nature. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and the way they played around with each other was something straight out of a fairy tale.

Elegant Calgary Wedding Reception at The Lake House

The reception was held at The Lake House, a stunning venue that matched the classy vibe of their wedding. A family friend’s band played music for the evening, adding a unique and fun touch to the celebration. Everyone had a great time dancing and enjoying the night.
