If you are here, you may be planning your Spain destination wedding and wondering whether or not you should choose Seville as your location. As a destination wedding and elopement photographer, I highly recommend Seville! It is such a beautiful, yet underrated city, offering great food, wonderful people and also lesser crowds than other big Spanish cities, like Barcelona.

Here are four reasons why you should consider choosing Seville for your destination wedding in Spain.

Romantic Atmosphere for Your Spain Destination Wedding

Picture this as you imagine your destination wedding – old cobblestone streets winding through historic neighborhoods, fragrant orange trees lining the plazas, and beautiful buildings everywhere. It has romantic vibes through and through, perfect for your special day!

Stunning Wedding Venues

From luxurious manors and villas to charming courtyards, there are so many different choices for your destination wedding here. Whether you’re planning an elopement, an intimate wedding or a larger celebration, you’ll find something for you in Seville.

Delicious Cuisine

Food is one of the most important parts during your wedding. Fed guests are happy guests! So treat your guests to the delicious cuisine featuring tapas, paella, and refreshing sangria. My mouth was watering just typing this out!

Great Weather All Year Round

Seville boasts a Mediterranean climate, which means the winters are mild, but summers are hot and dry. It’s a great location for a Spain destination wedding all through the year.

Spring is nice with vibrant colors, as flowers bloom in the parks and gardens. Temperatures are comfortably warm, however, you may get an occasional shower. Summers can be really hot, so you may want to find a venue where you can hide in shade or go indoors. Fall gets a bit cooler, while still remaining nice and warm, however, you may expect more rain during October-November again. And if you’re planning to have your destination wedding during an off-season, winters in Seville are still really nice! A bit cooler than the rest of the seasons, but very pleasant anyway.
